Solution toType Chinese Characters

1.click on the start button
2.click on control panel
3.Select Regional and language options
4.Click Languages
5.Click on details
6.Press the add tab
7.go and find for Chinese PRC
8.Select it and press ok
9.Press ok for all
If you still cannot type chinese
10.then at the bottom left corner of the blue bar you will see a EN sign.
11.Click on it and you can select Chinese

If you still cannot type chinese plz post your problem at the tag board and I will try solving it for you.

If still suay suay cannot, i think you all will need the windows xp orignal cd to install chinese support.
